"Animusic 3" is the upcoming third video album release from Animusic, supposedly containing eight completely different computer-generated 3D music animations in widescreen format.

Animusic 3 has been in production since 2007, with many delays for numerous reasons. The first thing that caused the major delay was the Animusic 2 Japan release. Jorudan, the company that distributed the Japenese release, failed to create enough interest in the Japanese release, and the failed campaign took a large chunk of production time out of Animusic 3.

Another factor was "The Sound of Twelve." The Sound of Twelve was a bonus goal from the Kickstarter that helped encourage people to fund the Animusic 3 project, but it ended up taking longer than expected and eating into the resources for Animusic 3, taking 3 years to create the final mix.

Another large factor to the delay of Animusic 3 is Dave Crognale, Animusic's main art department, leaving the company in 2015 after the release of The Sound of Twelve. The models and art made by David are half of what makes Animusic, the other half being the music. Without Dave being there to work on that half, it's taking Wayne much longer than a normal release.

The main reason of the delay of Animusic 3 is Wayne Lytle's mental and physical health deteriorating. A Kickstarter known as Daniel E. Gray has been constantly harassing Wayne and making false allegations about him. This member and other stress has caused Wayne's mental health to worsen. Physically, Wayne has experienced Chronic Fatigue, ADHD, Bell’s palsy and RSI making Animusic 3 hard to work on.

Although the future of Animusic 3 may seem uncertain, there is still hope for the project's release in the near future. In 2019, Wayne Lytle updated Animusic.com, confirming Animusic 3 was still in development, showing off new development stills and images. In the same year, a community member, VirtualTurtle, and few other college students volunterred their time for a university project for Animusic.
